The Department of Molecular Biology at Dinabandhu Andrews College, established in 1979, is dedicated to advancing education and research in the field of molecular biology. Offering undergraduate programs, the department adheres to the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF), ensuring a comprehensive and contemporary curriculum. The department is equipped with separate laboratories for conducting experiments in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, providing students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge techniques. The faculty comprises experienced educators, including Associate Professor Dr. Jayanti Guha Roy, who holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D., and Graduate Laboratory Instructor Himadri Mazumder, B.Sc.
