For Admission to M.Sc. ZOOLOGY / ELECTRONIC SCIENCE

Under Course Specific Academic Autonomy

 

Applications (on-line) are invited from undergraduates from recognized universities for admission to M.Sc. courses in Zoology and Electronic Science under Course Specific Academic Autonomy offered by Calcutta University. Sixty percent (60%) of seats available shall be reserved for undergraduates from Calcutta University, while rest forty percent (40%) of the seats will remain open for students of all Universities including students of Calcutta University to compete.

* Candidates passed B.Sc. in the year 2014-2016 may also apply but the selection will be made as per the Calcutta University rule.

 

SCHEDULE OF ONLINE APPLICATION

From 05:00 pm. of 8th July, 2017 to 5:00 pm. of 25th July, 2017

After submission of the application the applicant must note down/take a print-out of the Application Form Number which will be generated at this stage (if the submission is successful).

 

PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE + BANK CHARGE

 

On clicking the PAYMENT button, the system will redirect to the payment gateway where the applicant has to choose the payment option (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking) and pay the application fee @Rs.350.00  + bank charge.

After successful payment, the bank gateway will redirect the applicant to another page where the applicant will be able to take the print out of the completed application form that will be required at the time of admission if the candidate is selected for admission..

 

Applicants are advised not to click the BACK button or RELOAD the page at this stage.

 

 

If for any technical reason the process of payment fails, the applicant will be able to make payment after some time (30 minutes) through the  link (Pay On-line) provided below  by using the Application Form Number previously saved by the applicant (generated by the system after submission of application).

Follow the below mentioned steps for the purpose:

·        Fill-in the form (don’t leave any field blank/vacant).

·        Check whether all entries are correct or not.

·        If incorrect, press reset button and fill it again.

·        If correct, press submit button – a receipt will appear on the screen.

After submission of the application the applicant must note down/take a print-out of the Application Form Number which will be generated at this stage (if the submission is successful).

·        Set the paper size to 'A4' in 'POTRAIT' orientation from the browser page setup.

·        Click on the ‘Print this page’ button to take a print-out.

·        Retain the complete application form for all future references.

Approximately a sum of rupees 29,200/- for M.Sc. Zoology (for 1st 12 months) and a sum of rupees 28,200/- for M.Sc. Electronic Science (for 1st 12 months) respectively will be charged at the time of admission which includes 4 months tuition fees. All charges have to be paid in cash.
